NEW for NPC 2027 – Rising Stars in Nuclear Plant Chemistry

NPC 2027 is looking for the next generation of early-career trailblazers! Are you working on innovative, groundbreaking solutions for the nuclear industry in one of our technical stream areas? The inaugural NPC Rising Stars Program invites you to showcase your work on an international stage.

Applicants are sought from a wide range of sectors (industry, academia, government). Selected Rising Stars will receive a guaranteed oral presentation session to share their R&D work with the NPC community and will receive a complimentary conference registration.

To apply, candidates must:

  • Have completed their most-recent academic degree no more than six years prior to the start of NPC 2027, i.e. six years prior to October 3, 2027 (October 2021).
  • Submit a 1-page summary of a project and/or activity that highlights the value and impact of their contribution to innovative problem-solving within the NPC 2027 technical topics. This should be submitted as a separate document from the NPC conference abstract, with a clear focus on the applicant’s direct contribution to the work and impact.
  • Submit a professional biographical statement (1-page maximum), outlining relevant career and education experience.
The two-page application package (plus conference abstract) should be submitted directly through the NPC abstract submission portals.
